Original Hedgerow, leg 1.

 

Dull with heavy rain, hail, sleet and snow showers.

Some of the Lesser Celandine and Meadow Buttercup plants have dark centres to their leaves. They're closely related, as their latin names indicate: Ranunculus ficaria and Ranunculus acris respectively.

    

This Navelwort has chosen an interesting place to grow: in a hole in a living Hawthorn.

 

I keep expecting to find Greater Stitchwort in flower, but it's now about 3 weeks later than last year. I found a couple of buds:
