Dull with frequent heavy showers.

Bud-break everywhere. Alder on the left and Birch on the right.

The Beech, however, is still tightly closed, although some of the leaf sheaths are peeling back which indicates some kind of movement.

A rare beam of sunlight was lighting this Bilberry flower from the side and showed the inside to advantage.
