Highest local point.

Heavy showers with late sun.

False Salmonberry - Rubus spectabilis - is a seriously invasive plant originally introduced as cover and food for gamebirds. I've now noticed it in 3 new places this year. This plant is a problem.

Wood Horsetail - Equisetum sylvaticum - is very elegant when the drooping branches are fully developed. These specimens are gradually being ousted by Field Horsetail now that the plantation trees are (temporarily) gone.

Yet another new moss - Campylopus introflexus. Thanks to Malcolm Storey for the id.
