This Birdsfoot Trefoil was a bit of a shock. It's very early in a late year. Other nearby plants showed no sign of buds.

This looks like the Dock Leaf Beetle, but it's on Beech. I'm now searching to see if there's a Beech-specific beetle that looks like this.
