Horse Chestnut blossom is now at its heady best. |
These are the eggs of the Dock Leaf Beetle - Gastrophysa viridula. This leaf is doomed. |

Leucozona lucorum is usually very fast and evasive. This specimen was very lethargic, and may have just hatched. A handsome hoverfly.
