Local disused quarry.

Cloudy but warm with late sun.

Another micromoth - Cydia ulicetana. This species is associated with Gorse and Broom: the larvae eat the seeds. Very difficult to photograph as it flies around a lot and then dives deep into the Gorse.

It must be summer. Heath Speedwell - Veronica officinalis - (left) and Lesser Trefoil - Trifolium dubium.

Ox-eye Daisy - Leucanthemum vulgare.

A teneral (immature) Damselfly. Damselflies emerge a pink colour and then gradually take on their final colouring. I suspect this might be a Blue-tailed Damsel.

And later on, a couple of domestic moths. Angle Shades - Phlogophera meticulosa - has a fascinating profile.

Brown Silver-line - Petrophora chlorosata.
