A quick trip to Lifford.

Occasional rain showers.

I've read that some Heaths and Heathers prefer dryer or wetter environments, although if I find one I generally find the others. This shot shows all three of the local species within a metre of each other. (Bell Heather, Cross-leaved Heath and Heather from left to right).

The 6-month cycle of Ivy fruits has started again.

When I found Perforate St. John's Wort recently I forgot to take a picture of the diagnostic holes in the leaves. Sorted.

This larva of the White Ermine Moth was moving quickly over the ground. It's time for pupation.

The seeds of Red Valerian have well-developed 'parachutes' or pappus to aid with dispersal.

A fly mine on Angelica. It appears to have been vacated long before the mine was fully developed. Maybe parasitised or eaten.
