Original Hedgerow, leg 1.

 

Heavy showers.

A fine cluster of Clavaria acuta growing on the rear wall of the ditch. Cluster about 10 cm tall.

This looks like a Postia on dead Alder.

    

And finally, a fascinating chain of minute mushrooms on a dead grass stem. Each perfectly formed mushroom is less than a millimetre in diameter. The sample in the close-up (right) is about 12mm. from top to bottom.

    

Astonishingly, the specimen at the bottom of the LH picture appears to have a parasitic fungus growing on it:
