Original Hedgerow, leg 2.

 

Sunny.

The spore producing sori of Hartstongue fern are always photogenic. The image on the right shows the new growth emerging from the rhizome of the same specimen.

    

 

A good quiz picture, I think. These are the empty seedpods of Navelwort.

Flower and seedpods of Common Field Speedwell, Veronica persica. I didn't spot the aphid until I was cropping the shot.
