Deforested Heath.

Cold, with wintry showers later.

Two sets of seeds: Fairy Flax (left) and Common Spotted Orchid (right).

This was only our fourth night of frost this winter. Some shallow puddles had interesting frost patterns.

More seedpods: Slender St. John's Wort.

All through the winter, growth is going on in anticipation of the new season. This is the leaf of Lesser Spearwort.

And just to illustrate the cold, Sphagnum moss with frozen hailstones.

These Tormentil leaves looked interesting with the light shining through them.

More Exidia recisa in a new location for them.
