Dunfanaghy on the North West Coast.

 

Bright, with a cold wind.

Caloplaca thallincola (orange) and an unidentified pale lichen, both on vertical walls just above sea-level.

    

Verrucaria maura (black) and Map lichen - Rhizocarpon geographicum.

    

Thrift: leaves and an old flower head.

    

Sea Mayweed - Tripleurospermum maritimum - (left) and Buckshorn Plantain - Plantago coronopus - (right): both new to the site. I need to get down to the sea more often.

    

A minute (2mm, excluding antennae) beetle found indoors.
