Hookeria luscens from original Hedgerow, leg1.

 

Dull with showers.

Much of moss identification is carried out under microscopes. I decided to start with Hookeria lucens (from 28th), which has enormous cells. Notice the roughly ovoid structure to the inside of the hexagonal cells.
