13th March |
A revisit of the Vapourer eggs from 22nd January.
Dull with bright periods. |
Vapourer moth larvae are hairy from the moment they hatch. These are about 3mm. long and appear to be eating the eggshells as they emerge. |
No sign yet of the dorsal tufts, but the appendages at the side of the head are just showing. |
A close-up. |
