High Heath.

1 x Peacock, 1 x Small Tortoiseshell.

Warm and sunny.

Larvae of the Garden Tiger moth are appearing everywhere.

Heath Milkwort is making new growth.

Always a happy discovery: the first leaves of the Spotted Orchids.

This spider had made a web between two Gorse branches.

The stream-bed is almost dry at the moment, but new season's growth of Philonotis fontana moss carpets the entire area.

The first Alder leaves of the year.

Later, on a frosted glass window: Double-striped Pug - Gymnoscelis rufifasciata.
