Letterkenny garden.

Bright and hot.

A nice portrait of Creeping Buttercup - Ranunculus repens.

Two Ichneumonids of converging colour pattern, but one (left) is twice the size of the other.

The old fruit trees in the orchard were dripping with lichens. This is in the centre of town.

More lichens on a rock in the orchard.

Male Melanostoma scalare hoverfly.

A small Solitary Bee. Probably Lassioglossum sp.

The first Orange-Tip larva hatched today. It was 2 mm. long at this point.

I showed the egg of this specimen on 20th April, so laying-to-hatching was 14 days.
