Broad Buckler Fern has almost fully opened, and sori are just forming on the underside of the fronds. |
Ground Ivy must be quite choosy in its choice of habitat. I don't find it in too many places. |
Brooklime, on the other hand, is to be found anywhere there is lying or sluggish water.

The liverwort Marchantia polymorpha also grows on damp ground. |
Blinks is a most tedious little plant.

Red Campion is flourishing on verges, hedgerows and riverbanks. |
