I'm not exactly sure what this spider was doing on the Bramble leaf. Maybe waiting to pounce?
The leaf gall Dasineura ulmaria on Meadowsweet.
A nice little cluster of Psathyrella at the edge of the path. Perhaps Psathyrella lutensis.
I knew the white variant of Bush Vetch would be opening, so I paid a visit just for that purpose. I also found an ant busily examining the base of all the flowers, presumably looking for aphids.
Scutellinia scutellata grows on dead wood, although it can appear to grow on soil. Specimen to the top right about 8mm. across.
The Spotted Orchid will be open before June, I think. That's very early for this area.
