A dull day, so we left it late. Original hedgerow.

Two shots of the Bilberry flowers. Older one on the left and newer ones on the right. The local name for these is "Mulberry".

   

A quick shot of the Jackdaw as I got back into the car.

This Dandelion was opening in a very interesting way - very geometric. And no, I have no idea what the pink shape in the background is. I only saw it when cropping the image.

Two shots from the verge under the hedge. On the left a nice bunch of Dog Violets, and on the right the first glimpse of the Meadowsweet.

   

 

 

This very 'felty' fungus was growing on a dead piece of Hawthorn. Image about 10 cm across.

 

Might be Meruliopsis taxicola.
