This is one of several Willows on the wildest part of leg 2. One of my aims for this year is to identify as many as I can.
Two more lichen images from the large Willow in the bog. The left image shows a veritable forest of lichens and mosses. On the right is a close-up of a large blue/grey lichen growing on the trunk. The section shown is about 4 cm across.
This lichen was growing all the way round the thin branch. It's about 2 cm across.
