28th January

Dry but very cold. Visited the annexe today - boggy approach to a young Spruce plantation.

This appears to be a dead Moss, that had been growing on a branch of Spruce. It's about 2 cm across. A live tree-growing moss can be seen here.

Two more Lichens on Spruce. The one on the right has a couple of interesting brown features in close-up - about 4mm across growing on it or through it. The one on the left is perhaps Parmelia revoluta.
