Very bright sunshine, but rather windy.  Locations are mentioned with each picture.

 

This Charlock was growing on a verge near the Deele. I suspect this piece of waste ground will be quite fruitful in the coming months.

 

Here's an early shot of the Pineapple-weed. It's a strongly scented member of the daisy family. It grows anywhere on disturbed ground.

 

This Cladonia was growing on an old stake up at the forestry. Notice the red spots on the fruiting bodies.

The diameter of these fruiting bodies (or podetia) is about 2 mm.
