Original Hedgerow, leg 2.

 

Bright, sunny and hot.

 

Meadowsweet flowers will be open soon.

The Orange Tip larva is almost fully grown, about 2 cm. long now:

I was just taking a shot of the Dog Rose when the worker Bumblebee landed in the adjacent flower...Snap!

    

 

The nearby Downy Rose, however, still has several days to go before it's open.

 

A sign of the times: Hawthorn flowers have started to go already, leaving the embryonic seedpods exposed.
