Clear-felled heath.

Heavy showers.

Greater Birdsfoot Trefoil  - Lotus pedunculatus - has just opened. The red buds are always very attractive.

Common Butterwort is also in full flower.

A new micromoth for Donegal: Neofaculta ericetella. This is common on heaths. About 10 mm. long.

And another new micromoth for Donegal. This is Falseuncaria ruficiliana. The larvae feed in the seedpods of Lousewort, which is very widespread in this location.

About 8mm. long.

Probably my favourite Speedwell - Heath Speedwell.

Peziza badia often pops up at the edge of the path.
