Greater Birdsfoot Trefoil - Lotus pedunculatus - has just opened. The red buds are always very attractive. |
Common Butterwort is also in full flower.

A new micromoth for Donegal: Neofaculta ericetella. This is common on heaths. About 10 mm. long. |
And another new micromoth for Donegal. This is Falseuncaria ruficiliana. The larvae feed in the seedpods of Lousewort, which is very widespread in this location. About 8mm. long. |

Peziza badia often pops up at the edge of the path.
