Fungal foray near Omagh, NI.

Dry but overcast.

Not many fungi were to be found. The ground is very dry despite all the rain we've had. Still, we start with a new species: Rhodocybe gemina.

Tricholoma sciodes is a Beech associate that I've previously found in Drumboe.

And Suillus grevillei is a very common Larch associate.

Coprobia granulata grows on cow dung. Individual caps about 3-4mm across.

Marasmius rotula was very numerous in a small wood near the river.

This minute specimen was found on old Beechmast. The brown stipe leads me to a Marasmius of some kind. The specimen is being investigated, but not by me. Cap about 2mm diameter.

Hypoxylon fragiforme on an old Beech branch.
