Non-fungal images from the foray near Omagh, NI.

Dry but overcast.

Early in the day I was so desperate for pictures that I started taking flowers, dogs, landscapes, etc. This is Veronica persica - Field Speedwell, or Birds's-eye Speedwell.

A nice 3-in 1 picture. Nettle Tap micromoth (top left), Hedge Bindweed and the hoverfly Helophilus pendulus inside the Bindweed.

The Common Banded Snail - Cepaea hortensis.

A fairly old mine of a generalist feeder on Beech - none of the specific Beech feeders is even a slight match. Without a tenant (larva in situ) there is little chance of an identification.

This is the mine of the micromoth Stigmella hemargyrella.

I'm waiting for the id for this minute fungal horn on Cow Parsley.

The fungal rust Puccinia graminis on the grass Timothy.
