Stone Circle approach. Dull with occasional drops of rain.

 

Two new Speedwells just centimetres from each other. On the left, the Wall Speedwell, and on the right, the American Speedwell, an increasing species, especially in Ireland.

These are the fruiting structures of one of the liverworts - Marchantia polymorpha.

Specimens shown about 1 cm tall.

The Yellow Pimpernel is a very delicate plant and I've shown its features, here. Main flower about 12 mm across.
