Bright early, then rain all day. |
The Lesser Burdock didn't appear on the hedgerow this year, but there are three specimens at the edge of woodland about 400m away.

This Coprinus (lagopides, I think) has shed all its spores and is now in its final stages. I took this photo before it rained, and on my return 5 minutes later it was broken and flattened by the wind and rain. Beauty can be very transient.

Half of this old Crack Willow was just a massive stump. It was covered in dozens of these Kuehneromyces mutabilis. The largest specimen was 6 cm across.
