2nd December |
A visit to mixed forestry.
Freezing fog early and late, with bright spells in the middle of the day. |
Two shots of Mycena epipterygia. Cap diameters 10mm and 15 mm respectively.
|
One or two specimens of Common Ragwort are still flowering from side shoots. The tops are long dead, as can be seen from the right-hand habit shot.
|
I continue to find signs that some plants have been confused by the recent mild weather. These Willow buds are bursting even after frost. |
The Tutsan berries are remarkably fresh-looking in their red and yellow 'collars'. This plant is very attractive in all its parts. |
