High deforestation.

Dull with occasional showers.

Here's a late specimen of Yorkshire Fog. Most other specimens have been dry and white for some months.

Most Alder leaves have fallen, now. But this tree is showing next year's buds and a fairly new leaf at the same time.

I'm not exactly sure what this is. I suspect its a slime mould that starts off as a small brown ball and then produces the spherical orange fruit bodies. Image size about 2 cm. tall.

Lycogala spp - a Slime Mould.

This Peltigera lactucifolia (a lichen) has developed its orange fruit bodies. I took a sample and we'll see if I can get any spores.

Two more lichens on Willow. I think maybe a Parmelia and a Ramelina.

Finally, the seedheads of what must be Upright Hedge Parsley. The heads were about 4cm. across, and this is roughly (to within a few metres) where I saw the plant earlier in the year.
