This is the Carder Bee - Bombus pascuorum. At this time of the year it is our most frequent Bumble Bee, although the Queen Bombus lucorum has been seen hunting for places to make a nest for a few weeks, now. |
I was down looking at insects when I suddenly noticed that one of the flowers I was looking at hadn't been photographed this year. Creeping Buttercup - Ranunculus repens.
