High deforestation, in cloud.

Heavy rain and drizzle all day.

As we arrived in the general vicinity I thought fog was falling. It turns out we were inside the cloud.

It's quite difficult to get decent pictures when the light level is so bad, but one or two things began to emerge.

I've shown this specimen of Willow Tar Spot - Rhytissma salicinum - on a couple of occasions. Tonight I noticed that the fungal body had grown substantially.

Everything is covered in water drops in fog and cloud. This is the first glimpse of Red Clover - Trifolium pratense.

I thought I was taking a picture of catkins on Eared Willow - Salix aurita. When I examined the picture at home I discovered an un-noticed guest.
