This is what happens to a Dock leaf when the Dock Leaf Beetle really gets going. I suppose it's important that the Docks have perennial roots, otherwise they would die off. |
Hedge Woundwort - Stachys sylvatica - has been out for a day or two...the bottom flowers have already dropped.
