Theory

The Theory part of the Home Economics examination is the final part of the examination which students take in June in the form of a written examination to complete their Junior Certificate. 50% of the marks are allocated to this part of the examination for Higher Level and 40% of the marks are allocated for Ordinary Level. The Ordinary Level paper is allocated 2hrs and the Higher Level paper 2.5hrs.
