The Irish Institute of Performing Arts has a policy to provide students with the greatest possible individual attention by a team of dedicated, highly qualified staff.

Students are encouraged to develop their many natural skills, all of which are important to their chosen career and to work together with a sense of mutual respect, understanding and involvement.

The objective of full-time training at The Irish Institute of Performing Arts is to secure placement for students by way of a professional agency service handled by 3D Entertainments Agency both at home and abroad.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

Entry to the Institute is by Audition only. Emphasis is placed upon the individual ability, talent and potential of each applicant.

The Institute looks first and foremost for 'trainable' students who are motivated, committed and display a dedication to the Performing Arts.

OVERSEAS STUDENTS

The Irish Institute of Performing Arts welcomes applications from overseas students for which a number of limited places are reserved each year. Application is made by completing an audition form (available by return) accompanied by two references and full-length photograph, plus a VHS video of two contrasting audition pieces.

We will assist you with your accommodation by providing a list of reputable agencies who specialise in Cork rentals. Our premises are centrally located in the City and close to all amenities. Your stay in Cork will be memorable and rewarding.

TRAINING

It is essential that the training of professional students is balanced in all areas of the performing arts in order to develop the versatility required for commercial purposes. The Institute has a policy to train students for every aspect of the Entertainment World, and to guide their future path during the latter stages into their most suited environment.

3D ENTERTAINMENTS AGENCY SERVICE

Our Professional Agency service, 3D Entertainments will work as your agent for duration of the course and inform you of upcoming Events, Festivals, Auditions, Managers, Contracts, Tax, etc. and give you professional advice on Career Preparation.
