U-9B Conor and Christine O'Neill's warriors went down despite a
great rally. They had fallen 5-1 behind, but when they regained their
composure for the second period, it was a different game. Glen Foran
struck a hat-trick, and a brilliant header from Oisin Zambra, were not enough
however, as Celtic lost by 6-4 away to Donaghmede. Full marks to the
troops for their valiant efforts.

DDSL U-11A earn valuable 1-1 draw away to Shelbourne in Clonshaugh, with goal from Luc Cauthley. Man of match was Robbie Kavanagh, while Mark Conroy, Paul Daly and Sean Hoare all impressed.
DDSL U-17A were good value for their 3 points with their 3-1 victory at home to Lakeland Boys in Porterstown. Alan Darcy scored his first of two in the first half. James Haughton got Celtic's second, which made up for his penalty miss. Alan Darcy scored his side's third. Peter Love scored for the visitors. But man-of-the-match was Lakeland's keeper, David Dunne, who took off a superlative penalty save from Haughton, and it was no mean penalty either. The keeper also saved brilliantly at the foot of his left hand post.

U-11D Castleknock, under management of Ken Leech
and Pierce Goslin,
played a cracking home game against Ratoath Harps. Both sides played well, with
Castleknock leading 1-0 at half time due to a nice goal scored by Alan Leech,
following a fine shot by Achmed M'Auzzam.
Castleknock's defence held fast with good performances from D McCann, C O'Neill, J O'Hare and D Bennett. Up front, S McElroy and C McGrath worked hard putting the Ratoath goalkeeper under pressure. At half time, substitutions were made with C Mulvihill, R D'Arcy, D Noonan, J O'Sullivan, D Quinlan contributing well.
The strong midfield partnership of E Goslin, R Collins, A Leech and A M'Auzzam continued into the second half, with A Leech scoring his second goal, after another great run by Achmed. The game ended with a strong attack by R D'Arcy, followed by yet another goal by A Leech, thus completing his hatrick. Alas, he could not claim the match ball as it had disappeared after the game!. Castleknock goalkeeper Con Devlin, an up and coming Shay Given, played another great match, and had his second clean sheet on the trot.
NDSL U-12 Premier dished out some punishment to the visiting Boyne Rovers in the SFAI National Norton Cup. They trounced the visitors 8-0. Scorers for Celtic were Aaron Wilson, Conor Fitzpatrick, Karl O'Mahony, Donal Mangan, and two each for Joey Crampton and Jason Morgan.
NDSL U-12B put together back-to-back wins with today's 4-1 victory over Swords Manor at Porterstown. The 11B's goal machine, Jamie Reid's scored an excellent hat-trick in the first half to take the home side into a commanding 3-1 lead by the break.
In the second half, Celtic enjoyed the lion's share of the possession and should have increased their lead on numerous occasions. However the Swords keeper was on form and produced a string of fine saves to keep his team in the game. The Swords goal was finally breached when Mark O'Brien fired home Celtic's 4th goal 10 minutes from the end of the game.
NDSL U-12D continued their winning ways with a fine 4-0 win away to Malahide. Sean Clarke, Eoghan Graham, Mikey Ebbes, and Conor McCabe were all on the mark. But it was Simon Priestly who earned the man-of-the-match award from managers Sean O'Donnchú and Peter Lawlor.
NDSL U-13 Premier Following their previous week's 2-1 win over Ratoath, Celtic continued with another win. This time it was in the SFAI National Troy Cup against St Dominics of Dundalk. The 2 -1 win resulted from two goals in the second half, with Patrick Waters and Graham Jordan on the mark. It was as they say, a game of two halves, dominated by extremely windy conditions. Dominicks scored directly from a wind-assisted corner.
The second half was marked by continued commitment from the whole team and with the help of the wind, Patrick Waters scored with a header from a corner. Then, with 5 mins remaining, Graham Jordan scored with a solo run through the heart of the defence. Roll on next Sunday and home again to Glebe North in the League.
NDSL U-14A progressed through to the 2nd round of the SFAI National Goodson Cup with a 3-1 home win over Glebe North. Michael Gateley opened the scoring for Celtic. A superb flying header from Ciaran Cully put the home side 2-0 ahead. Johnny Cooper got Celtic's third. There was a consolation for Glebe when Kevin McKeon scored their only goal.
NDSL U-14D Sean Dunne was absent from the line and it was Mick O'Hara's opportunity to fill the manager's role. It looked bad for Mick as they headed into the last quarter. They were losing 3-1, thanks to Robert Murphy's piece of opportunism, seizing on a shot from Cillian Quinn, which came back off the keeper. But Oladet Mashan, the hero of two weeks ago when he shot the winner against Dunshaughlin, was to prove the match winner again. He was set up by Brian Carter for his first, after the ball was threaded through to him, and he made no mistake. Mohamed Mahdi was then provider. There were jubilant scenes again in Porterstown, as Oladet completed his hat-trick.
NDSL U-15A This SFAI National Evan Cup game between Celtic and Albion Rovers from Dundalk was 1-1 at half-time, after Alan Kearns had scored from a Ger Farrelly cross. Tom Sangiang got Celtic's second. But Rovers proved far too strong as the Celtic resistance collapsed. Rovers ran out easy 6-2 winners.
