Kilkenny is the village of Stoneyford. Just 9 miles south of Kilkenny
City on the main Kilkenny to Waterford road, Stoneyford is only a
two-minute drive from the 18th green in Mount Juliet and is
well worth a visit after your round of golf.
This beautiful village is renowned
for its folklore and local attractions, namely Kells Priory, Jerpoint
Abbey and Kilree Tower and High Cross. If you fancy buying presents you
can visit the local Glass Blowing studio in Jerpoint or if you would
prefer pottery Bennetsbridge is only a few minutes drive away. |
