Farmers' Market
The Killavullen farmers will hold their fortnightly market on this Saturday
at The Nano Nagle Centre, Ballygriffin, Killavullen (on N72 between
Fermoy and Mallow) from 10.30am-1pm. They support local, organic and
environmentally friendly products such as eggs, cheese, meat, fish,
vegetables, fruit, plants, fresh bread, home baking, American style
baking, organic toothpaste and soap, hand-made candles and a range of
crafts, The market is held under cover where you can browse through
the stalls at your leisure and sit and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee.
Community Alert
The local committee is at present assessing needs in our community and
is doing a survey of all eligble persons in The Killavullen area who
wish to avail of a sociallly monitored personal alarm that can be worn
and used in an emergency to call help, an external security light or
smoke alarm. If you require any of these helps please contact Julia

Blessing of Graves
On Sunday Rosary and Prayers for the Dead will be said in Monanimy Cemetary
after the 11.30am Mass in Killavullen, and on Sunday, Nov.30th in Cleanor
Cemetary after The 10am Mass in Annakissa.
There will be no Evening Devotions in Killavullen Church during Novenber.
Active Retirement Group
The monthly get-together will take place on Friday week in The Hall
from 10-11am. All of retirement age welcome. Enjoy a chat and a cup
of tea or coffee and plan outings and activities. Anyone interested
in travelling to Dublin on Dec.3rd please give name to Annette at 022-26659.
Table Quiz
Please support quiz in aid of The Senior Citizens' Christmas Party on
Friday, Nov. 28th in The Haven Bar at 9.30pm, table of four €30.
Prayer Evening
On Friday, Nov. 28th, the last Friday of the month, the usual evening
of Mass, Adoration, Rosary and Prayer will be held at The Nano Nagle
Centre, Ballygriffin, Killavullen commencing at 7.30pm. Everyone welcome.

GAA
The AGM of The Killavullen GAA Club will be held on Friday, Nov.21st
in The Dressingrooms at 8pm. All players and members are requested to
attend.
On 11/11/08 the draw in their weekly local lottery took place in Magner's
Bar and the numbers drawn were15, 17 & 22. The "jack-pot"
of €1200 was not won and the winners of the 'lucky-dip" prizes
were Dave Mellerick, a promoter, Helen Linehan, 6, Hunter's Park, Castletownroche,
seller J. Angland and John Magner, c/o seller Magner's Bar.
