South
West Donegal has some of the most breathtaking scenery to be seen
in the country including Sliabh League and the Bunglass Cliffs renowned
for their sheer cliffs on the Atlantic. South West Donegal is also
home to many fine Golf courses including Portnoo and Murvagh both
within a 30 minute drive from Portnacross. Other scenic hotspots
include St Johns Point , a peninsula reaching out deep into the
Donegal bay and the Caves of Maghery in the town of Ardara.
Glencolmcille
folk village is another popular attraction bringing us back to
sample life in the famine times portrayed in a restored village of
the time. O' Donnell Castle in Donegal town is another historic
landmark popular with many visitors and historians.

Killybegs
itself is known primarily for its fishing fleet and most visitors
take a keen interest in the boats that can be seen landing
their catch at any time of year.
