Donegal is in the North West Corner of Ireland. Killybegs is
approx 26kms west of Donegal Town along the south west coast. To
go to Portnacross from Killybegs Town you would drive along the
road to Kilcar for 1.5kms until you reach the first crossroads.
You will take a left turn at the crossroads and drive
straight along this road until you reach the sea shore (approx
.75kms). You will then see the Cottage directly across from
Portnacross Pier.
From Dublin
Follow signs for Navan -- then
Cavan -- Pettigo -- then Donegal Town -- Dunkineely
-- Killybegs
From
Belfast
Follow signs for Derry and
the M5/M2
Travel on the M2 for 18 miles and the M22 for 4.5 miles
Then travel on the A6 to
Derry and follow signs for Letterkenny
Cross the border into the Republic of Ireland at Bridgend
Travel along the N56 and then to Letterkenny
At the first roundabout turn left for Stranorlar -- then
Ballybofey -- Donegal Town -- Dunkineely -- Killybegs
