Raffle A fine handmade patchwork quilt measuring approximately 100” X100” is the main prize in our raffle.  Most of the fabric in the quilt is made of American cotton and following the tradition of American patchwork each square has its own title and history.  The titles of the patchwork squares are set out below: Grandmother’s Fan  Le Moyne Star  Star in a Star  Goose Track  Grandmother’s Fan Wind Mill  Wedding Ring  Monkey Wrench  Grandmother’s Flower Garden  Jacob’s Ladder Bow Tie  Le Moyne Star  Spring Bloom Friendship Star Bear’s Paw Ohio  Grandmother’s Flower Garden  Lily  Honey Bee  Shoo Fly Grandmother’s Fan  Double Nine Card Trick  Flower Basket  Grandmother’s Fan   Lilly, Mabel and Mary have thoroughly enjoyed putting the quilt together and hope that the lucky winner will enjoy and appreciate it.  A picture of the quilt (and some of the other prizes) can be seen on the festival web site www.flower-festival.com and the quilt itself will be on display in the main hall during the festival.  We have gathered a great collection of prizes Parishioners have been busily selling tickets for the past few months.  Mabel Long & Lilly Miller, Co-ordinators, Festival Raffle           Prizes 1st  Handmade Patchwork Quilt - the high point of people's art 2nd  Yamaha Keyboard    3rd  Two Nights B&B in Avoca (Home of BallyK)   4th  Painting by Suzanne Pegley    5th  Gardening Hamper  6th Six Bottles of Wine  7th Prize Four Cushions   and many more prizes   Watch this space for further details on and photos of the various prizes.
