Seniors:
We're back in the County final after an 2 year absence following our 1-16 to 1-8 victory over Inniskeen in Carrick on Saturday evening last. It was a performance of great character and total commitment and we're now looking forward to the County final day and a meeting with Scotstown on 19th September.

U-15:
The competition for this age-group begins this Saturday with an away game versus Oram. The throw-in is at 4pm and the mentors will be makin arrangements during the week.

Good Neighbours:
The club would like to record its acknowledgements and thanks to the Carrick Emmets for their presentation after the County semi-final on Saturday evening last. While the rivalry on the field may be intense, last Saturday's gesture demonstrates the true meaning of the sport and sportsmanship.

LADIES Senior Match:
We played Tyholland on Monday evening last and were narrowly beaten on a scoreline of 3-10 to 1-15.

LADIES U-12:
Congratulations to our U12s who defeated St. Bridgets in the semifinal on Thursday evening last. Good Luck to them this evening (Tue) in the final against Latton in Carrickmacross. Hard Luck to the Monaghan Senior Ladies who were defeated by Kerry last Saturday in the All Ireland quarter final.

Senior v O'Neills away on Sat. Next 4th Sept at 5.30 Minor v Tyholland and on Wed 8th Sept at 6.45 Senior v Aghabog home on Sunday 12th Sept. Congratulations to our Senior men who qualified for the championship final against Scotstown we wish them the very best of luck. Well done to all our Athletes and teams who competed in the Community games finals in Mosney over the last two weekends.

Seans go Stale after Bright Start
Magheracloone put down a championship marker in this opening game of their current ACC Bank Senior Football Championship when they deservedly advanced to the next round with five points to spare over Sean McDermotts in Clontibret on Sunday evening last.
 
Duffy to the rescue
A point from a free by goalkeeper Shane Duffy four minutes from the end of normal time saw Magheracloone edge the result in this closely contested yet quite entertaining Credit Union Senior Football League game in Magheracloone on Saturday evening last.
 
Excellent Game for Ward
Ireland has taken a 1-0 lead in the three-match International Rules Youth Series with an emphatic 28-point victory in the opening Test played at the Gabba on Thursday night. Our star player James Ward had an excellent game while scoring 1 over and 2 behinds.
 
Ward announced on Schoolboys International Rules
It was annouced this week that one of magheracloone key player will heading for Australia this April, on a panel of 24, James Ward will be represting the Mitchells in the Rules.
