  From an entertainment perspective there is much to see and do in the local area of Maglin Vale B&B. One of our local farmers enjoys Maglin Vale B&B Guests visiting his farm and he will be happy to give you a tour.
On our left and right you can see a couple of photos taken by one of Maglin Vale B&B's previous guests, and they were delighted to see and witness some sheep being sheared by both Father and Son. Maglin Vale B&B guests are always welcome to tour this local farm and to see the horses, cows, sheep, pigs, hens, cats and sheep dogs. Make sure to bring along a camera as there is alot to see and view here. Visitors in the spring are well rewarded as they can see the new born lambs playing on the hilly pastures.
 There are many golf clubs in the local area of Maglin Vale B&B. These include the well renowned and p restigious Lee Valley Golf Course, the Blarney Golf & Country Course, Tower Golf Course, Cork City Golf Courses, and so on.
All of the golf courses are open for green fees from early in the morning until late in the evening and all offer nine and eighteen hole green fees. Some of the golf courses provide for ride-on-buggys. Most of the courses also have a practice putting green and a driving range where you can practice your swing and your putting edge before you venture onto the greens.
Ensure to check the times and bookings in advance, as these golf courses are very popular, and particularly so during the summer months.. Also, there are spicial members-only times which need to be observed..
Most of the golf courses also cater for light refreshments as well as breakfast, lunch and evening meals. Also, most of the golf courses also have a fully licenced onsite bar.
  Another popular tourist attraction includes Horse Riding, and there are a couple of stables in the local area of Maglin Vale B&B. Rates are very competitive and the avid rider can participate in riding tours which can last from as little as one hour to two or three hours.
Hiking and hill walking are also popular activities in the local area of Maglin Vale B&B. The more adventerous of hikers spend some time touring the local hills which, at their peak, offer some amazing views of the Lee Valley. Ensure to bring along a camera as there are many vantage points where one can take the most spectacular of photographs.
Close by, also, is Blarney Castle and Woollen Mills. A particular myth regarding Blarney Castle is the Blarney stone. When kissed it is said that the vocabulary of the most famous and prestigious of Irish Poets and Writers is bestowed. Also nearby Maglin Vale B&B is the Boating Centre, and this is only a short stroll down the road. Thsi is a popular area for recreational activities including Swimming, Water Skiing, Fishing and many other water sports.
