Overview of Assignment 1

This project is prepared as a course rquirement for the M. Sc. in IT in Education progamme at Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland. The course director is Dr. Bryn Holmes.

This assignment has four key elements:

1. Participants are to develop a web-based course, via Blackboard.com, with a specific learning objective and outcome.
   
   
2. Participants are to explore a theory or key theoretician in depth, with reference to original work and the participant's own experiences. This is to be presented as a theoretical paper.
   
   
3. Participants are to provide a context for their work, specifically by way of a review of international, national, Irish and subject context. This section of the assignments is to be written up as a literature review.
   
   
4. Participants are to apply good principles of web design and content presentation in the context of the assignment.
