What is VMI?

VMI(Vehicle Management information) is a powerful software application which drives down fleet operating costs whilst allowing fleet operators to offer their customers an enhanced service and to ultimately become more efficient.

Two types of VMI exist: Real Time and Historical.

Real Time VMI gives an instant snapshot of vehicle location and status. This allows fleet operators to quickly locate the vehicle that is nearest to a particular customer, thus enhancing the service provided.

Historical VMI allows whole journeys to be analysed in 'minute by minute detail'. This gives fleet operators very detailed information on delivery times, waiting times, time spent at customers, vehicle speed, driving habits, routes taken and productivity.
