Today's Poet
Pat Frank O'Mullach.
A native of Kilnaboy ,Pat spent his youth ,dragged around by his loving Father ,a turf cutter and a well known lad about town. Pat left Kilnaboy aged 12 for the bright lights of neighboring Limerick. He now has a thriving Hardware Shop and has just published his first collection of poems,
"THE HARDWARE SHOP DOWN THE LANE FAR FROM THE LAND OF KILNABOY".
Today's poems
Hear the poet himself ,by clicking on the cow.
COW.
She had danced the night away
Unable to eat in the dark of the day
Across the craggy bog the beast exploded
The Landlady pointed ,
"That was Dolan's Cow"
"Wow"
CAR.
She hopped off every tree and ditch
She choked on the unleaded Super rich
Across the craggy bog my bare feet sunk
My tongue like an Arab's tacky hung
"Two miles to Dolan's Bar"
Broken Car.
HAM.
The young Pig spied the hungry Bucher's knife
He felt tender and packaged
Across the craggy bog the blind vegetarian crawled, calling,
"Are you Chicken or Ram ?"
Dam
Your HAM .
