  (c)Donn

Peter O'Malley started his career some years ago, in the fields of Europe, pre (Maastricht).

Busking  for years in the high bright lights of the cities of Europe, he then started to play the warmer surrounds of the Folk Clubs and Rock Cafes.

After six years of A La Carte, Wurst, Beer, T.V. appearances and assorted recordings, it was Home Boys Home.

The island that he returned to in the eighties, was so busy ducking and diving, that it apologized for those working, and the mass of the unemployed were told to get "DAS BOOT".

Ran over in the stampede to leave, Peter set up camp in this fair and pleasant land.

Peter then formed a band The O'Malleys (The O'Malleys web site will be up and running soon).

The band became a way of life , constantly playing the long and short of Ireland and then on to the U.S.of A. , Russia (before the Wall came down), Europe and God knows where.

The Band finished or took a break, so Peter O'Malley went off on a solo run.

He also teamed up with James Hanley .

Peter and Jim play a lot of gigs together now, where their mix of song and laughter goes down well

Peter then brought out a single called Poitin.

Plus a C.D. called Beyond the Pale , in which Jim played and arranged and produced.

He has also been included on a C.D. "THE CREAM OF NEW IRISH MUSIC".
