As many of you will know, the government's plans to decentralise much of the Civil Service from Dublin have met with limited success. About two years ago, in an effort to attract Department of Agriculture workers to Portlaoise, a promotional booklet was planned and the Department asked for permission to use some of my pictures. Needless to say, I was honoured, not to mention, flattered. It's not everyday I get the chance to move a government. Since the initial contact, I've heard nothing. My career as a mover and shaker was indeed short-lived....
