School Fundraising Activities.

Well done to 6th. Class from St. Evin's who raised £335.00 in the Concern Christmas Fast. The girls had to give up sweets and other snacks between meals for one day. Thank you everyone who sponsored the girls. Your generosity was much appreciated.

Jennifer from sixth class also did  the Trocaire Fast on the 2^nd and 3^rd of March, 2001. That was a 24 hours fast but she enjoyed the challenge! 

Two Goats!

Every week the pupils in our school collect money for the Missions. This year we have sponsored 2 goats for needy families in Africa. Under this scheme the family which receives a female goat  in kid, has a chance to improve their way of life.   The first newborn female kid is then given to another family. We named our two goats, Glenda and Molly.  

Confirmation Project

As part of their preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation the girls in 6th. Class held a raffle and a cake sale within the school to fundraise for worthy causes. They also made donations from their own Confirmation gift money. In total they collected £500. The girls decided to donate £300 to Our Lady's Hospital for sick children in Crumlin and £200 to the Kolbe School in Portlaoise.
