I have decided to discontinue updating this site. In recent times I haven't had the time needed to gather information. You can still find concert information on the fan sites (see links below).

A fund has been set up to give support to the music students in Anthony's old school; the F.C.J. Convent, programs that foster Irish traditional music, and Irish-born voice students at the conservatory level.

The story of Anthony's big break is amazing. Our national treasury had decided to issue a new £10 note. This denomination has always been referred to as a "tenor".  To coincide with this event, a competition was launched to find a "tenor of note". Anthony phoned up the show that was running this competition and sang down the phone. This continued all through the preliminaries until there were just seven left to fight it out before a panel of judges. Anthony won, despite being the only one there with as yet an untrained voice. From there he got an appearance on our most popular show,  The Late Late Show, which is the longest running show of its type in the world.
It was also from this show that bands such as U2 set out on the road to fame.
