TSPRC Aims

We have a number of goals at the center, and as we are a new rescue we do appreciate any helpful comments or ideas from other groups or experienced small pet owners. Please contact us with any such ideas.

Firstly, we want to help as many unwanted small pets as we can.

Secondly, we wish to highlight the plight of many small pets who are victims of incorrect housing, over breeding and bad pet shop and pet farm management.

Taking in unwanted small critters is only a small part of what we want to do, in the long term we hope to educate pet owners on how to house their pet, (for example visiting local schools) correct feeding and why breeding your pet is not always a good idea. The more people that take note the less animals we will need to take in.

We need to set a good example here at the center, so donations of hutches/runs etc all go towards us being able to house correctly all animals that come in. As with a lot of rescues, sometimes space, money and time might be limited, hence we need to re-home some animals to homes where people have more time to spend with a critter.

While we do not re-home dogs, here are some pics of our resident canines, Arwen and Leena

Our precious baby girl Arwen helping her mum muck out the bunnies Our big girl Leena mad as a hatter but we love her all the same
